I'll put it this way. I lived in Moore when the May 3rd of 1999 rolled through. A house my family lived in when I graduated HS was picked up with half the solid slab foundation going with it. Literally all that was left was half the slab. It was not the only house that had that happen in our old neighborhood (my mom and siblings hadn't lived there for 3 years by that point). If you are going to spend that much money, buy an underground shelter. It would be the only thing that would survive an F5E tornado.

Thanks for the great review. We are glad you are enjoying your shelter

let's talk tornados for a second there is no Guarantee your going to get a weak tornado if your starring down the barrel of god forbid an F5 listen and listen good ! anything above ground including any above ground shelters is going to leave the surface of this earth and go down range , I have been in the F4 that hit Dallas and I can tell you that My wife dogs & I were glad we had the below ground shelter also experienced the duratio that hit dallas both times we used our new shelter and while we did not take a direct hit we did sustain a lot of damage But what if it had been a F5 and what would that outcome have been I will tell you we would have climbed out when it was over and rebuilt you can always rebuild but you can't replace a loved one .
